So, here I am, two weeks later finally getting around to writing this review for New Moon on DVD.
Let me preface it by this. Obviously I watched the movie again. I did not enjoy the second viewing. I think the Buffy/Angel binge I went on over the past few months completely ruined Twilight for me. Which is why I'm waiting until after Eclipse comes out (in 18 days) to watch more of Buffy and or Angel. I want to enjoy the film version of my favorite book in the series.
It's just so frustrating to see them all do nothing but mope, but Taylor is still beautiful. So there's that.
Moving on to the special features. The extended scenes were worth the extra ten bucks for the special edition. They included more things from the book that I didn't even know I missed until I saw them, as well as more Emmett, which is nice. Because I love Emmett.
The cast interviews and red carpet were all pretty good, especially the ones with the wolfpack and the "Making of" documentary, which focused mostly on Christ Weitz and his special effects team was really good.
Overall though, I wouldn't suggest investing in the DVD unless you're a hardcore fan. Even more hardcore than me, because at this point, I'm really thinking I should have just rented it.

Hey there! I haven't really watched the Twilight films too many times to have a massive educated view on it, but I will say that although I'm not really a fan of romantics etc, I did like the consistency with the plot throughout the entire movie. No sudden ogres or giant crab's like on certain films like Beowolf, and games like Shadow Ninja (psx). The movies didn't really encourage me to like the series per se, and I only saw them because my friends made me see them, but in all fairness I do have to say that the film was obviously worked on quite hard, I just wish Belle would have some more damned expression when she acts. It really gets to me when I see linear actors and actresses :/
